Jane recently met Stuart Taylor, UK Head of External Relations for the Post Office, to discuss how the Post Office can support businesses and charities affected by the closure of a local bank. This is particularly important for Llantwit Major, where Barclays plan to close the local branch, following closure of NatWest before Christmas.
Stuart Taylor promised to clarify how charities, local organisations and churches will be able to manage with depositing coins from collections and takings at Post Offices in the area. This is a major concern being raised by local people.
