Jane Hutt’s Spring Breakfast Celebrates Young People

Vale AM’s Spring Breakfast celebrates young people in the Vale

Vale AM Jane Hutt held her 17th Spring Breakfast in Barry on March 10th at the Cardiff and Vale College Glamorgan Suite.

Professor Sally Holland, Children’s Commissioner for Wales, was the guest speaker as this year’s theme was young people.  She congratulated the Vale Youth Forum on their excellent engagement in promoting youth participation in the Vale.

Jane Hutt said:

“With representation from Barry Youth Action, Llantwit Youth Council, the deputy Vale Youth Mayor, Mencap, Vale People First and St Richard Gwyn and Bryn Hafren school councils, this was a wonderful opportunity for young people to discuss their views with the Children’s Commissioner. The breakfast was prepared and served by a fantastic student team from the college who also raised funds for their chosen charities with a raffle.

I would like to thank everyone who attended the Spring Breakfast and all those who made it such a significant event
