On March 3rd, as part of Fair Trade Fortnight, Jane Hutt organised a coffee morning with the Rainbow Group- a local group enabling ethnic minority women to access leisure facilities and connect with others in the community.
Jane said:
“It was wonderful to bring together women from different backgrounds in order to network and share ideas and to learn more about Fair Trade and sustainable farming. Local councillors were there, as well as those involved in the voluntary sector and we were also very pleased to welcome Syrian families to Barry at the event and hear more about the excellent work of the Rainbow Group, led by Basma Ihbasheh.”
